ittee, call them to register your opposition with them as well! Contact Info here:…
-If you reach an aide, ask to speak with the aide who handles this issue.
-After identifying yourself, tell the aide you would like to leave a brief message, starting with: “Please tell Representative (Name) that I oppose HF 809 and HF 812”
-Briefly state your reasons why you oppose these bills… Talking Points:
-These Bills constitute discrimination against females based on the kind of insurance they possess and chall

enge law settled by the Minnesota Supreme Court (In re Doe v. Gomez) mandating reproductive health care that is needed regardless of financial circumstance. This bill and companion House bill (HF 809) aim to DENY medical assistance coverage of abortions.
-These bills propose an unconstitutional restriction on a female’s right to an abortion through proposing abortion clinics (i.e., facilities that perform more than 10 abortions monthly) meet requirements that are unduly burdensome and unnecessary, which would result in the closure of 4 out of 5 clinics in MN, including the only clinic in greater MN.
-These bills would increase state costs and result in a constitutional challenge based on the United States Supreme Court Ruling In re Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt

As always, be kind, courteous and thank the Aide/Rep for their time!
Up and At ‘Em!! To the Phones!!!
