WANDA 2017 Spring Conference

WANDA MN Spring Conference is an opportunity for Activists and Advocates at all levels of experience to learn, network and connect with organization(s), to create an interwoven web of activist communities all over MN.

The Spring Conference will offer workshops in two tracks: Activism and Advocacy. Attendees will have a chance to chose workshops that suit the ways in which they want to engage. Workshop topics include racial and social justice, intersectionality, women’s and gender rights, economic justice, immigration, environmental justice and self-care for participants. Attendees will utilize the skills they’ve developed to help set the WANDA MN policy agenda for 2018 with actionable plans for the upcoming six months.

Women & Advocates MN, or WANDA, is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization of experienced and novice activists who came together in late 2016 with a mission to build a coalition of organizations, advocates and activists across the state of MN focused on the promotion of equality and social, racial, environmental and economic justice policies that affect women from all walks of life.
